Sensu Bento Box

Turn lunch breaks into delicious home-cooked meals with this traditional Japanese bento
Created in the early 1200s and popularized during the Meiji period (1868-1912), the bento became the essential accessory that accompanied the advent of railway lines with the appearance of train journeys. Travelers can now transport and consume their own food, which is all the more convenient for longer trips.
This Japanese bento in light wood is composed of two floors, one of which is subdivided into two parts. It is therefore ideal to fill it with three types of food in order to compose a complete meal. Its small fabric bags carry a fan pattern called “sensu"for a refined traditional look.
