Why You Will Love It
Set a calm, artful mood with the Japanese Paper Ceiling Lamp
This Japanese Paper Lantern turns your room into a softly lit scene straight from classic woodblock prints. The shade shows an ukiyo-e style landscape with pink cherry blossoms, a geisha in a red kimono, distant rooftops, and Mount Fuji, giving your space a poetic focal point. Hang it above a dining table or reading corner to enjoy the warm glow and refined look of Ukiyo-e Lantern that celebrate timeless Japanese aesthetics. Ukiyo-e means “pictures of the floating world,” a celebrated art form from the Edo period, while chochin paper lanterns have illuminated streets, shop fronts, and festivals for centuries.
- Chochin lantern design: Ukiyo-e pattern
- Dimension: 17.7 x 9.8 in / 45 x 25 cm
- Material: paper

Hi, I'm Jade, founder of KimuraKami.
It started with one simple idea: Japanese style should be something you actually live with, not a costume you put away after one evening. Most of what we carry is clothing, and the rest is what goes around it: a mask on the wall, a lantern in the hallway, the cup you reach for every morning. I choose every piece myself, and I keep the ones I would use on an ordinary Tuesday.
Every order leaves here folded by hand, with a note. If something is not right, write to me and we will fix it.
