It screws into the standard fitting our paper lanterns, pendant shades and floor lamps already use, so there is nothing to adapt. At 9 W it draws little and stays cool to the touch, which counts when the shade around it is paper.
Keep a spare in the drawer. A lantern with a dead bulb is an ornament; a lantern with the right one is the reason the corner works at all.

It started with one simple idea: Japanese style should be something you actually live with, not a costume you put away after one evening.
